Résumé

Vera thinks the world is going to hell and wants to build a revolutionary party that is free from past mistakes and that uses modern methods to get the message across. Justin, her liberal brother, attempts to stop her by arguing that it's all just a symbolic attack on their capitalist father. But when Justin visits his father, Hardy, during one of his firms' marketing sessions he gets to see why many people would love to see a system change.
Finally, along with revolutionaries from the past, they all gather to hash things out. There Hardy learns that his daughter has picked up his love for mass marketing and, to the disgust of Justin, is unable to refrain from helping her use his marketing knowledge against his now unloved capitalist system.

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Jim Pangrazio

The general consensus is that change is urgent. Yet those claiming to work toward that end choose illusory paths that serve more as an impediment to the change they profess to seek. It is a closed loop -- a path that follows itself -- a safe at home tour rather than an expedition in search of wherever. My plays attempt to untangle the complex knots created by repeated trips to nowhere by focusing on the fearful simplicity of uncontaminated life where acceptance and rejection meet to hash out what's bothering them.
