The Prince of Brimstone must face trials within as revelations are uncovered. The dark lord, Abraxan continues his game of cat and mouse, while Peter learns of darker secrets within his families blood. Dark stories circulate as Peter begins to experience night-terrors, visits from monsters, and gods, and he begins to fear the monster that lies within. Secrets from the past unfold in treachery and threatens the trust he holds in those he loves most.
His reality begins to splinter at the seams and he has to answer the call and figure out who he truly is. Adventure and nights of flight are what Peter and his friends embark on as they navigate the trenches of love and warfare. Meanwhile more monsters rise, and blood begins to spread with disaster. Will he be able to define himself and discover who the monster within him truly is? When darker beasts that dwell just beneath the scars the surround everyone around Peter - will he be able to save everyone he loves, or is despair, inevitable?
