Elsie McCracken, a teenage scion to her family's business empire, is fed up with being a quiet little girl. She wants to make a name for herself and do something wild. Along with her two best friends, Elsie engineers the abduction of Pop Star Jordan Rich, and the girls take him hostage in an attempt to keep him to themselves. Despite their ingenuity in pulling off the caper, they meet with varying degrees of guilt and self-reflection.
