Fans of classic action movies and military stories will be sure to enjoy the bond of central double act Hawk and Cowboy, who have an admirable skill set between them, and as such are very exciting heroes to watch in action. The plot is set up to encompass both Liz's attempted rescue and the defeat of D'Arcy, both of which play out with great pacing and appropriate twists to keep the action flowing.
One of the things which I really liked as the story developed was the dialogue, and how the emotions and stresses of the characters came out through their voices. Overall, I would certainly recommend Recover and Terminate for action and thriller readers of all kinds.
