Résumé

In a world where prospects are grim for a young and aggressive red stallion named Bear, his fate takes a sudden and tragic turn. Sold at auction by a family who neglected to tame him, Bear ends up in the hands of a kill buyer. But a calamitous accident during transportation changes everything, claiming the lives of several horses and leaving Bear and the survivors abandoned and forgotten in a desolate pen.
Meanwhile, Debra, a hardworking woman who has devoted her life to raising her daughter, Nicole, finds herself at a loss when Nicole moves away with her husband, leaving Debra feeling lonely and adrift in retirement. Seeking solace, she heeds the advice of a kind couple from the local feed store and embarks on a journey that will forever change her life. At Gabriel's Rescue, a sanctuary for neglected animals, Debra discovers a chance to fill the void in her heart.
Volunteering with the horses, she finds herself drawn to the quarantine barn, where seventeen horses bear the physical and emotional scars of their harrowing escape from slaughter. As Debra immerses herself in their care, a remarkable bond forms between her and Bear, as both wounded souls find solace and healing in each other's presence."Saved by an Accident" is an emotional tale that explores the transformative power of love and compassion.
Join Debra on her journey as she rediscovers purpose, overcomes her own pain, and shows Bear the true meaning of trust and affection. Will their bond be strong enough to overcome the scars of their pasts? Find out in this poignant women's fiction novel that reminds us of the remarkable connections we can forge in the unlikeliest of circumstances. All profits from the sale of this book will be donated to Blaze's Tribute Equine Rescue, a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to creating better futures for horses that have been abused, neglected, abandoned, and forgotten.

Biographie de Regina Walker

Regina Walker crafts compelling characters facing some of life's hardest challenges. Her heart's desire is to always point toward Jesus through the way her characters face challenges, relationships, and adversity. Regina is an Oklahoma import, although she was born and raised in the beautiful state of Colorado. She likes to curl up on the couch and binge-watch crime shows with her hard-working husband.
When she's not wrestling with a writing project, she can be found wrangling their children, riding their horses, or working around their small hobby farm.
