It's the annual Seaside Wine Festival on the boardwalk. After coming home from the beach and parking her 1962 Transporter, aka "Beach Store on Wheels", Vicki gets ready for her first date since high school with police detective Randy Jansen. Unfortunately, their dinner comes to a screeching halt when a customer announces there's a dead body in the vineyard's booth outside the restaurant. Despite Randy's warnings, Vicki gets involved in the case, bringing her friend, retired police photographer Angie in to help her with the clues.
Adding to the chaos is Vicki's complicated feelings for Randy. As Vicki sticks her nose into yet another investigation, will she be able to juggle her feelings, ignore Randy's warnings not to get involved in the case and concentrate on her own investigation with the help of Angie?
