The aliens are invading. Too bad they're plants. Iona Edwards travels through life on a tourist visa. On her latest stopover, she lands a plum project and maybe a reason to stay. Marcus Stanislav lives a life as a dutiful son, a protective older brother, and is dying inside. His new project may fund his escape with Iona. When the world panics and the invasion covers the planet, the scientists become the lab rats and their special project may be mankind's salvation or the cause of its extermination.
