She has no way of knowing that her desire to lead a quiet, complacent life is about to be blown away, her every decision leading her further and further into dangerous, uncharted territory as she quickly finds herself caught between Junard and his own brother as an unwitting participant in a game she doesn't even know the rules to. This is book one of a trilogy that has several single-character novellas planted in-between.
