And in a few brief seconds he's squinting his eyes by the room being illuminated with the flip of the switch going back to the on position.
Once his eyes adjust, they land on her face. The look that's plastered on that beautiful face of hers almost makes him wish he hadn't said anything at all. But he couldn't hide the truth from her.
