There was a time when all I could see was black. Every stressor added to the mounting anxiety and looming depression. When I tried to make things better, it seemed to plunge me deeper into a state of helplessness. I am only one of the more than forty percent of Americans that have a mental illness. In this book, I want to share how we can gain strength from our suffering and help others through transparency.
