Biographie de Ghada Alatrash

Syrian-Canadian author and translator Ghada Alatrash is a Doctoral Student at the Werklund School of Education, University of Calgary. She has an MA in English Literature from the University of Oklahoma. One of her goals is to amplify the voices of the margin¬alized through her writings. She translated a collection of Arabic poems by Youssef Abdul Samad published as So that the Poem Remains. Ghada and other Syrian artists were profiled on the PBS NEWSHOUR at pbs.org/newshour/bb/surrounded-by-violence-syrians-seek-solace-in-art
