When Suzy's student invited us to a party at his house, neither of us really wanted to go. Being surrounded by drunken 21-year-olds no longer has the same appeal once you've hit 30 but, as the guy's mentor, she felt an obligation to turn up. The party turned out to be more fun that we'd expected, and my wife took it upon herself to tease a group of geeky undergraduate. The more she drank, the more she teased them.
The partying went on longer than we realised, so we ended up staying the night - though the only space was in the large room where the geeks were sleeping. In the early hours of the morning, I woke to the gentle movements of Suzy's body. I thought she was kissing the guy on the next mattress. I soon realised it wasn't just a kiss and the next morning, she did so much more than she had during the night.
