Our story wasn't one for the storybooks and it wasn't one with a pretty bow, tied at the top. No, it was something else, entirely. The love I found with Phoenix was dark, twisted up with so many emotions, secrets, and lies I wasn't sure what the truth was, anymore. I used to think what we had was enough. That we could get through anything as long as we were together. But, I was wrong. So, very wrong. Love wasn't enough. It was all a lie. And if somehow, we made it out of this alive, I wasn't sure if our relationship would survive the wreckage. Only time will tell.
