Résumé

Italo Michael Taranto was, according to his own description, the arch "alcoholic, womanizing, drug abusing, thieving reprobate." In 1992 he had a series of incredible divine interventions in his life, including a death to life event and an experience of heaven. In 2007 another experience started him on his journey of writing his life story. On the 30 May 2012 Truth House Publishing received this manuscript from Italo Taranto.
Twelve days later he died suddenly and unexpectedly while sitting at his computer. Nothing of Italo's story has been deleted in the editing process. It is exactly what he wanted to be told. This is the remarkable true story of Italo Taranto's life."I began writing this book after what I can only describe as a divine intervention in my life. This event took place in 2007, around the time of my 40th birthday...
It was an incredible experience, one I will never forget, and the one that started this journey, my journey of 'TELLING'. I have never written a book, or even attempted to write one. A few short stories here and there, some fiction stuff fuelled by my imagination, and a few youth-driven attempts at poetry in an attempt to win over a young lady's heart perhaps, but never a book. There is no time limit in a book...
Write a book? I will do it. I will 'TELL THEM!'Everything you are about to read, is non-fiction..."

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Italo Taranto

Italo Michael Taranto entered this world on the 12th December 1967, born of a Sicilian father and an Afrikaans mother in Swaziland, a small landlocked country to the north-east of South Africa. Swaziland shares its Eastern border with Mozambique. The balance of this small country is surrounded by the South African province of Mpumalanga, and its most southerly border lies against the South African coastal province of Kwa-Zulu Natal.
Italo spent the first six years of his life living in Swaziland. Soon after Swaziland gained its Independence the family moved up to Johannesburg South Africa for the purpose, he later learned, of a better education. Having been brought up in a well-to-do, middle class suburban family home, Italo's life took an unforeseen dive into a life of drugs, motorcycle gangs, chronic alcoholism, criminal activity and lascivious sexual immorality.
He suffered an accident which should have killed him, or at the least, should have ended his freedom and days as a normal member of society, and consigned him to a life behind bars on charges of first degree murder. The reason it didn't forms the main thread of his story. Italo finished writing the final draft of this book on the 28th of May 2012. Truth House Publishing received his manuscript on the 30th.
Twelve days later, on the 11th June 2012, Italo died, having completed what he knew to be his assignment from God.
