Résumé

Of course, fighting the Russian machinery of war, that is, going head on with Putin's kill squads in Ukraine, bullet for bullet, man-to-man, is one way to stop the madman, but that's old-school, involves trillions of dollars of tax payer money, is a very protracted campaign and most importantly, results in a lot of spilled blood and destruction. Today's technology, however, opens the door to an entirely different approach.
IT specialists, or hackers, could infiltrate Vladimir Putin's cache of money, both personally (which amounts to billions today) and the accounts which finance his war. No rubles - no war. This approach, and more, is detailed in my geopolitical thriller - The 9th Divinity - Book IV in the Keeno Crime Thrillers. You will believe it is possible and you will ask yourself, why isn't this approach being done? Questions and answers await you in this thriller which will challenge your reality.
If you want to explore the very real struggles facing the world today through an exciting, well-written political thriller then The 9th Divinity is the book to choose. It's a compelling concept and a story that might well haunt your thoughts for a long time to come.- Mr. D. J. LuddingtonIn his latest crime thriller, Real takes the reader across continents fighting the big players in nuclear warfare.
Readers get a picture of the devastations in Ukraine that shook the world as well as a glimpse into a nuclear disaster that very well could happen. The sociological insights into the minds of sociopathic leaders and how it leads to mass compliance in their citizens is impressively weaved into the story. With compelling storytelling skills, Real makes us question our shared responsibility in the disasters of the millennium.- Dr.
Anuradha Prathap (PhD)Opening The 9th Divinity is thought-changing and mindset-shifting. It takes you to a different level though. It is emotionally rich, raw and so real as the characters dive deeper into the sad state of our world. As I read, and I do love a thrilling, suspenseful novel, I keep finding moments and details I can understand, as we are living it today... Hopefully we can learn from some of the paths this book travels and that war is not the answer.- April B.

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Réal Laplaine

Inspired by Richard Bach, author of Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Illusions and The Bridge Across Forever, I discovered not only a passion to write, but also a channel, a means of helping to raise awareness in a world where people, trying to change things for the better, were being fought and silenced, where racism, greed and war were commonplace, and a society that was being dumbed down primarily through a system of "education", cultural propaganda and ideology - both political and religious.
I write high-concept thrillers and speculative fiction in geopolitical, crime, sometimes bordering on science fiction, and often times inspiring stories. I love story-telling and especially, I enjoy weaving my stories with compelling and eye-opening perspectives about the world we live in and hopefully, inspiring my readers to see a better vision, a higher one and a world where the good guys win and actual peace and justice is possible.
