When New York homicide detective Harvey Wall arrived in Amsterdam for a six month work exchange program with the Dutch police, he thought it would turn out to be a long holiday with plenty of fun. It was, until he encounters the strangest deaths he has ever come across in his working career. He is assigned to work with a Dutch detective who looks and smells more like a weed smoking hippy, he is! His new boss is nothing compared to his ball breaking screaming Captain back in New York - in fact he seems just as laid back as his hippy partner.
But things change when he encounters the first death - never has he seen anything like that back in New York.
