Robert Smith writes books. After a lifetime of what can only be described as work, I now follows my passion and write books. Books that make you think; and books that cross genres. Alternative history, sci-fi, contemporary, historical and crime. The Southeast Asia trilogy spans the formation and magnificence of the Khmer Empire, the builders of Angkor Wat in "The Kings of Angkor, " and moves onto the kingdom that finally conquered the Angkorian empire in "The Kings of Ayutthaya." The trilogy concludes with "The Kings of the Toungoo Empire, " the largest empire in the history of Southeast Asia, and one many have never heard of.
The Annunaki Series takes the myth and legend of the Annunaki and weaves a speculative tale as it journeys through history to the present day and into the near future. The first book "The Annunaki" and following books develop a theme from the original. "The Revenge of the Druids" set initially in a 1830's America that is totally unprepared for the terror it is about to face. A blend of historical fiction, horror and the supernatural and the second book in "The Annunaki" series.
The series moves on with "Deep State." The year is 2015, and a scientist and researcher analyzing DNA sequencing discovers that at some time in the distant past 'synthetic' The repercussions are endless as the existence of aliens is revealed along with the exposure of a long-term governmental cover-up. The fourth is "2022; The Return of the Annunaki". The annals prophesy that the Annunaki return in 2022.
The year is 2019 and their spaceship is sitting outside the Pluto-Charon system watching events on Earth and studying mankind. The Annunaki made us, and now they are judging whether we have earned the right to remain as custodians of the planet. The repercussions of their visit are felt in the final two books in the series "The Reckoning" and "Armageddon". The Annunaki novels have also been released in a compendium; The Annunaki Novels.
I have always wanted to write a best-seller crime novel and "Murder in the Blood" is my contribution. A dynasty of serial killers, father to son set against the background of professional golf starting in 1910 to the present day.
