Stripping has left Nero jaded about the intentions of anyone who seeks a date with him, to the point where he doesn't even notice the person who has been right in front of his face for almost a year. Vance watches his friend go through his days with no goals and no intention of seeking out work that doesn't leave him covered in sweat and glitter at the end of the night. A rising New York chef, Vance has always dreamed of returning home to Maine and opening a restaurant by the shore, someplace close to his family where he can settle down and do what he loves.
Unfortunately, that would also mean leaving Nero behind, unless he can convince his best friend and roommate to take a chance on letting himself be loved.
