Résumé

A crumbling society leaves its infrastructure to rot, and the death toll doesn't matter. The rejects and failures of an entire city gather on a derelict bridge to quicken its collapse. Some of these "bridgers" cross for the frugality of free passage. Others seek a last chance at excitement. Steve, a hard-bitten fitness trainer, takes the ferry to work in this viciously competitive dystopia. His muscles mean nothing to today's women, especially the petite passenger he knows only as the Little One.
She detests his humble and hunky advances. Meanwhile, the other passengers leer at the doomed bridge, hungry for blood and spectacle. Steve must resist the lure of vulturism and his lust for the Little One. Before the bridge falls he must decide who to rescue and, in a choice more chilling than the deadly water, if anyone deserves saving at all. Get "The Bridgers" now for a heart-wrenching tale of Russian roulette on a citywide scale.
