Anne peeked around her dad's shoulder at her mom. "Oh! Hi-yah!" Her mom gave her a goofy smile. "Your mom is right, Grasshopper; we better hit the road! Those pancakes aren't going to order themselves!" Anne rolled her eyes. Her father tossed her on the bed. She laughed and popped up on her feet. "Well, I'm ready!"
