Résumé

You go on holidays to visit a friend and they're not there. You'd spoken to them yesterday and everything had been agreed. But now, there is no answer when you knock on their door. No one picks up their phone, and their employer doesn't seem to care. They seem to just have disappeared. So what do you do?When Holmes and Watson arrive in New York to visit their friend Roland Burgos, a man on the verge of a massive breakthrough with computer-aided translation software, he's no where to be found, and no one else seems to care.
Even as Watson worries they are getting involved in something that doesn't concern them, it's Holmes' innate sense of right - and his secret love of getting involved where he shouldn't be - that sets them on a trail that introduces them to Roland's ex-lovers, and takes them to San Francisco, Los Angeles, Sydney, Paris, Rome and Amsterdam... as they uncover the true worth of Roland's invention and the willingness of his jilted lovers to take their revenge.
Of course there's also big New York muscle cops, celebrity business gurus with kinky habits bordering on the deadly, athletic Dutch lesbians and an army of Holmes' A-Gay friends to help them solve the case. But+ will they ever save Roland from his past - or himself? And will they ever make it to Cape Town for their holiday?

Biographie de Richard Saw

Richard Saw is a long time London resident who fell in love with the city when he fled his native Australia in the vain hope that he'd land a real job. Author of 'From Breakfast to Whenever: The Eating Guide to Soho' and a struggling media executive, he started writing the Holmes & Watson novels as a love letter to the city, the men and the lifestyle he'd fallen in love with.
