Résumé

This is the third installment series of Dr. John Stourton. It is now three years later after the letter from his grandmother showed up in his mailbox on Groveton. He announced his candidacy to run for president of the United States. He decides to move his campaign office where he feels will draw more people to his campaign, to Wake Forest, NC. I suburb north of Raleigh, Wake Forest still has an old town charm that is quickly disappearing in the US.
Dr. Stourton sets up his office and discovers that his family's past will appear because of the explosion 6 months ago west of Bakersville, NC. Now, he faces a steep hill to gaining the presidency. There are those who want him to win and there are those who want to see him crash and burn. As with Dr. Stourton, the ride is never dull, and the stakes are at the highest in his life. From a community college instructor and retired Navy Captain, he is faced with significant challenges.
Will he survive long enough to become the people's president?
