Inspired by the events of 9/11, this book begins and ends with a Jaw-Dropping Turn of Events. Banzai (his chosen nickname), to whom this book is dedicated, was living on a Chinatown bridge in Honolulu, Hawaii, an outcast not unlike this Biblical beggar: "At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores." (Luke 16:20).
His story is a living testament to the book's premise - the sounding of a blaring, worldwide evangelistic emergency alert: "70, 000 die every day without hearing the Gospel!" As one turns each page, he/she will feel the spirit of Banzai pulsating throughout, right up until the very end, concluding with a climatic, absurd jaw-dropping turn of events. WARNING! No Peeking! Wait for it.
