Résumé

The fifth book in the Castaway Island series, the gang continues with many adventures and memories of past fun. It is a million years after first trip to the island and lots things have changed. There are many new subjects as well as retrospective views of past escapades for friends who don't yet know the complete story. The sun has evolved to a point where the Earth is no longer habitable so Jayna and Zardoc plan and then move all of the Earth to a new universe.
Instead of just moving the people and other living things, they decided to use what they learned during the Swamlun move and leave it a ball of dirt and rock. They even moved the oceans and lakes to various localities in the multiverse creating many more "Castaway Islands" for others to vacation. Nomtux is called upon to save two planets that are in the line of fire of a Cosmic Phase Transition. She is very nervous, but as Zardoc told her, "If Tar-el did not think you were capable, you would not have been asked."In the end, Zardoc's body expires causing Jayna to freak out.
Z kept assuring her it was only the container that expired and that as soon as the body was no longer capable of supporting her life, she would move to a new container. It wasn't her first transition, but Jayna's human brain couldn't wrap around the concept. It turns out to be a "Charlotte's Web" ending of sorts with an interesting twist.
