Alinora - more commonly known as Nora - is a young woman on a mission to find her soulmate. In her village, there is a myth that a statue of an angel in the nearby forest has the power to bring two soulmates together. Since it worked for Nora's parents and grandparents, she has every confidence that it will work for her. Reaching the statue, she offers up a prayer, and hears the bushes rustling from nearby..only to find a wounded young rabbit.
Taking this as a sign, Nora believes this young rabbit was sent to her by the angel to guide her. And so, rabbit in tow, she makes for the neighbouring town in search of her soulmate. But it would seem this is only the beginning of her journey, for rather than her soulmate, she meets yet another guide sent to her by the angel. Between dodging rogue bandits on the road, weathering severe storms, and escaping a mine on the verge of collapse, Nora maintains her faith that her soulmate is waiting for her somewhere.
