This book is a collection of life lessons that I learned as a wife, mother, grandmom, teacher, assistant principal and farmer. Through wearing these many hats, trial and error, luck or accident, all these lessons were acquired first hand. While these are anecdotes of real occurrences and I include some personal details to help with context, all of those details have been tweaked slightly to keep actual people and places anonymous.
A number of people mentioned are composites of those involved. Some of these life lessons are well-known and the story just illustrates how I came to learn that lesson for myself. Other stories reflect lessons that I hadn't heard before, but ones in which I learned something important enought to want to share. Some were funny lessons, some were hard lessons, but all were meaningful for me. Hope you enjoy this book and my stories.
