Résumé

Love is sorrow. Love is death. In 2235, Scott Dunn is immortal, thanks to a scientific breakthrough in 2010, Everlife, once all the rage but now banned. Everyone he's ever loved is dead: his wife, his children, his grandchildren; they all got old and died while he remains, immune to disease and old age. Fighting perpetual grief, he swears he'll never get close to anyone else ever again, but a call for help sends him to Boulder, Colorado, where he teams up with a mortal woman and her pet ferret to rescue a woman from cryonic freeze and thwart a plot to assassinate a Councilman.
Scott's journey will bring him face-to-face with his ultimate fear: losing someone he loves...again.
