Résumé

From the bestselling author of The Lost Storyteller comes a story about mystery, ghost stories and small-town secrets: The Haunting of Hero's BayJobless and heartbroken, Finley Wade decides to escape to Crescombe, North Devon, for the summer. The remote coastal town famously inspired the Victorian painting, Hero's Bay, a moody seascape whose unexplained glare of light - along with the untimely death of its painter - has puzzled the art world for almost two centuries.
Finley arrives in Crescombe seeking peace, but quickly finds himself questioning the tragic events of a Crescombe summer long past - an investigation that could have devastating consequences for his present when it becomes apparent that something supernatural is afoot. The Haunting of Hero's Bay is a mystery, romance and ghost story exploring self-acceptance, small-town secrets, and the powerful and often treacherous lure of the sea.
