Colleen and Abbie Lewis are mother and daughter living in a small, lakeside town, and they are -- oops! -- about to become accidental crime solvers. The idyllic little town of Lakeland, where they live, is experiencing a rash of pretty nasty crimes. Between the murder of a local couple, the assaults perpetrated against local realtors, a sexual assault and murder in the vineyard owned by Colleen's parents, and a series of burglaries that may or may not be drug-crime inspired, the local authorities have their hands full.
