Résumé

Cross Plains, Texas; June 11, 1936: devastated and distraught over his mother's final illness, Robert E. Howard, pulp writer, shot himself in the head. Never regaining consciousness, he died eight hours later. But what might have happened in those hours as he hovered between life and death, between this world and another? What further adventures could he have experienced in his brilliant, dark, troubled mind? Perhaps some of his favorite characters might have revisited their creator to say one last, final goodbye.or would it be final? Or even goodbye? "The mind is a universe."

À propos des auteurs

K. G. McAbee has had several books and nearly a hundred short stories published, some of them quite readable. She takes her geekdom seriously, never misses a sci-fi con, loves dogs and iced tea, and believes the words 'Stan Lee' are interchangeable with 'The Almighty.' She writes steampunk, fantasy, science fiction, horror, pulp, westerns and, most recently, comics. She's a member of Horror Writers Association and International Thriller Writers and is an Artist in Residence with the South Carolina Arts Commission.
Her steampunk/zombie novella, BLACKTHORNE AND ROSE: AGENTS OF D. I. R. E. received an honorable mention in the 3rd quarter Writers of the Future contest. She won the prestigious Black Orchid Novella Award, sponsored by The Wolfe Pack and Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine, for 'Dyed to Death', a story set in a 1920s mill village.
