Résumé

War looms in northern T'har, and with it the prospect of easy money for mercenaries and unscrupulous merchants alike. The promise of blood and gold lures warriors like the exiled dwarf Tryon Thunderslayer to Fort Dragon's Spine, one of a series of battlements near the border of Morvis, where he signs on as an axe-for-hire. When the dwarf's small company of mercenaries is betrayed by one of their own, a series of events unfolds that draws the band deeper into a regional conflict created to cover up and draw attention away from the reintroduction of dragons to the world.
The key to stopping the draconic invasion lies in these unlikely heroes and whether or not they can find the portal that allows the great wyrms access to the Oreth: The legendary Mirror of Worlds.

Biographie de Nicholas Sweeney

Nicholas was born in Yugoslavia to ex-pat American parents. They subsequently moved to Zambia where his father worked as a librarian for the University of Lusaka and his sister was born. They traveled a lot in Africa and saw things like the Pyramids at Giza, Victoria Falls (where as a three year old Nicholas ran atop a low stone wall on the edge of the falls to the horror of his mother), and ancient petroglyphs in a cave that was inhabited by hyenas.
Eventually they ended up in Berkeley, California where Nicholas attended high school. Nicholas lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife and two children. In addition to writing, Nicholas enjoys cycling, SCUBA diving, traveling, D&D, and playing board games.
