Those teaching from the pages do not have to be thespians to manage the games and activities. Children do not have to go on to a life on the stage to benefit from the skills learned. There are lifelong lessons such as being a good audience member, which is what most of us will be most of the time; learning to speak up, which is necessary when delivering an oral report or a report to a committee; and acting confident, such as in a job interview.
