Résumé

The President's ride to the Ghetto is a book that speaks to the present long-protracted native African quagmires and it catapults into the future and captures in a panoramic view the state of African politics. The book captures the plight and hope of many African countries that are at the mercy of their corrupt governments. Hence it's a story of hope, betrayal, unfulfilled promises and the uprising of the people to reclaim what belongs to them.
President Robert Dambudzo is the symbol of African bureaucrats. Embedded and soaked in deep symbolism and allegories, the book narrates his political masterpiece in the similitude of misogynism and chauvinistic tendencies of a man who betrays a woman he claims to love, until she decides enough is enough. The woman represents the people and the man politicians. This book offers many political answers and solutions to African politics and problems.
It's a must read kind of book!About the authorAlbert Gezani Moyo was born in the capital of Bulawayo in Zimbabwe but spent most of his childhood in Chiredzi with his grandmother Njakeni Manganye. Like most Shangani boys, he disregarded education until he snapped from the slumber that still engulfs Chizvirizvi, his home place. Today, he is an enthusiastic student of the law (Torah), Criminal Justice and Lingustics with the Zimbabwe Open University.
