À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de David William Eames

My parents were travelling showmen and I was born on the road between shows. We traveled extensively on the East Coast of Australia with our Carnival, attending the local school in the towns along the way. When World War 2 started in 1939 the shows were discontinued and our Carnival was placed in storage. In 1942 I attended a bush school of less than 15 students to complete my schooling and attain a Diesel Engineering qualification at aged 15.
Being interested in engineering design I designed and built a house of 50 squares in an elevated circular configuration in the shape of a space ship. The purpose of this radical shape was to withstand cyclonic wind from all points of the compass.
