Résumé

The Journey has begun. Winter is coming (apologies to Game of Thrones, but it's just that time of the year!) Tragedy strikes in the Elves' first real contact with a servant of the Evil One as they cross the ford of the great river Afn on Mons Dei, leaving Farinka devastated; it takes many months for her to come back out of her shell. The Elves are "adopted" by a wild child and a wolf pup, Kaaia and Kin, who travel with them to the Western Mountains and the Hidden Valley.
The Western dragons take the six senior Elves south to recover Miirshekaar's Blade, but Hlammaeth will not let Nemeth keep it until after they reach adulthood; he tells Nemeth that Tarke has a decision to make first. The time in the Hidden Valley brings to light a wholly new side to Farinka.

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Mark Ash

I was born and bred in Southern England, and live in a fantasy world in the general area of the New Forest, Hampshire. I'm kind of middling: middle height, middle weight, and middle-aged. Over the years I've been owned by animals of various species, both domestic and agricultural. Many of my family have been journalists and writers; my younger daughter has started writing her own books, and her son is already showing promise in his wordcrafting.
I'm somewhat of a recluse; I like to remain fairly anonymous as far as my writing is concerned; it helps me to keep my fantasy world and The Real World separate. I'm one of the many New Forest Commoners - which means that some of the ponies grazing on the New Forest belong to me & my family."Mark Ash" is a pseudonym behind which I hide; it's actually a local place name.
