Résumé

Detective Inspector Ron Scott and his team at Police Scotland, Greenock, K Division are investigating the murders of two teenage girls. The bodies were dumped at local beauty spots in Inverclyde, and it looks like Scott has a serial killer on his patch. Then, a four-year-old boy goes missing from his granny's back garden. There is a fierce storm brewing. Could the situation get any worse? Yes. The COVID-19 pandemic is hindering every aspect of Scott's investigation.

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Callum Dalziel

Callum Dalziel is a new author in the genre often referred to as "Tartan Noir". He has lived in Inverclyde all his life, and felt that the area deserved to be featured in a Scottish crime novel. The themes in the SCOTT'S LAW series are hard-hitting and certainly not for readers under-18. Author's Note: Under "poetic license" I have taken some liberties with the geography and some urban features of Inverclyde.
Some places are altered, re-named, or invented to suit the narrative. "My" Police Scotland is not intended to represent the procedures or personnel of the actual entity; nor are the characters herein in anyway representative of the good people of Inverclyde. ************ ERRATUM ************ On page 51, para. 3, page line 16, the phrase should read '... he missed the orderly regime ...' instead of 'regimen.'
