When Jennet's collie, Misty, is stolen, Jennet vows to find her, no matter what it takes, and to bring her abductor to justice. A stranger wants to buy Jennet's white collie, Misty, a request she flatly refuses. When Misty vanishes soon after this encounter, the stranger becomes Jennet's chief suspect. But he has given her a false name and a card advertising a non-existent landscape business. Furthermore, he, too, has vanished.
