This book is the prequel to the series, Time to Ride. Hoping to avoid all the trappings of romance, love, and marriage that seem so expected on Valentine's Day, five women decide to take a motorcycle ride through the Rocky Mountains instead of celebrating the dreaded holiday. Through circumstances beyond their control, they find themselves trapped in a different time. Can they find a way home or are they stuck living without the modern conveniences they are accustomed to?
