The mission was simple: Rescue the kids. Evade capture. But something has gone very wrong, and now I'm negotiating deals for magic with humans. The divide between us runs deep. My goal is to ensure I emerge unscathed, but the human I'm to fight alongside has secrets-secrets that could cost me everything. If we can put our differences aside, the children's lives will be secured. If we falter and let the divide grow deeper, we'll undoubtedly die and the relationship between elvens and humans will forever be severed.
