Résumé

It's great to be healthy and fit to lead an active, productive and fulfilling life. It's great to have a good, affordable and effective healthcare system and competent medical professionals to provide the life-saving healthcare and treatment that are needed for whatever reasons. We certainly owe a great debt of gratitude to all the healthcare professionals, especially the hardworking doctors, for their commitment, dedication, compassion, and empathy towards their patients.
With the many problems related to the medical profession throughout the world, one might well ask: Are doctors overworked? Are doctors terribly exploited as a group? The problem of shortage of doctors is also becoming even more acute with the ageing population around the world. It is obvious that there are complex issues related to this problem. This phenomenon has been reported all over the world, and has caused serious healthcare crisis in many countries.
Clearly, there is much that medical Innovation can change the whole paradigm of healthcare throughout the world. This should be the next human moonshot project and should be called the "Great Human Health Breakthrough" project to rival the spectacularly successful space exploration projects to the moon and to mars. This is a major undertaking for humankind in the next few decades. And with sustained and concerted effort international, this will be a great breakthrough project for the health and safety of humanity.
Some of the funds for this important global project should come from reduced military spending in every country.
