Résumé

On a tattered fragment of Dead Sea Scroll, a clue has surfaced to one of history's great enigmas : the hiding place of the seven-branched golden menorah, stolen from the ancient temple of Jerusalem in 70 A. D. Now the race to find it has begun. Archaeologist Dr Caspar Laing leaves the peace of academic life for a world of heat and sand, of warriors scholars and spies. And while he struggles to crack the code and locate the priceless treasure, he unveils layer upon layer of deceit. Faced with a two-thousand-year-old mystery, learn the truth : that the menorah is worth dying or killing for - and that it's a burning fuse in a land set to explode...
