EuropIA Conferences are organized as a cross-platform for the study and analysis of the application of the ICT to architecture, archaeology, building engineering, civil engineering, urban design and policy analysis. The aim of EuropIA international conferences is to promote advancements of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and their effective application for the Building and Construction industry.
The characteristic of these conferences is the interaction of different disciplines regarding their approach, methods and techniques for the application of advanced technologies. The main theme of the EuropIA13 is Collaborative Design Spaces. Industry and the building industry in particular are being stirred up by new design methods, aimed at overcoming the increasing complexity of their products.
Collaboration allows for a flexible and adaptable development of the work carried out in networked organizational structures, such that the outcome of the work will be shared and contributed to by a wider range of experts, thus benefiting from and facilitating the spread of innovative methods and ideas within organizations.
