Résumé

Poverty is one of the most depressing facts in the world today. This book is written in order to provide a new perspective to the problem of poverty and to the discussion of anti-poverty policies in developing countries, including aspects of child labour and systemic transition, which are currently at the center of political debate. The intention of the book is to provide a common base for discussion for those professionals in developed, as well as those in developing countries.
The authors hope that this book will be of use to those professionally occupied with these problems as well as to those "only" interested in issues of development economics.
