Résumé

Squib Moreau may be a swamp-wild, street-smart, dark-eyed, Cajun-blood tearaway, but his intentions are (generally) good : he really wants to be a supportive son to his hard-working momma Elodie. But sometimes life gets in the way - like when Fake Daddy walked out on them, or when Constable Regence Hooke gets to thinking that pretty Elodie Moreau might just be the gal for him... An apprenticeship with the local moonshine runner looks like a sure-fire way to pay off the family debts and maybe get him and his momma away from Constable Hooke's unwanted courtship.
Unfortunately for Squib's plans, the crooked constable has an eye on the moonshiner's stretch of bayou - and there is also the matter of the dragon hiding out in the Louisiana swamp...
