Sander Bot is an independent researcher from the Netherlands. His research is devoted to hoverflies and he travels all over the world to collect and study them. Frank Van de Meutter is a researcher at the Research Institute for Nature and Forest (INBO) in Belgium. He has a keen interest in both the ecology and taxonomy of hoverflies.
