À propos des auteurs

The Editors : Mia Consalvo is Associate Professor in the School of Telecommunications at Ohio University. She is the executive editor of the AoIR Internet Research Annual series, and she has also edited the volume Women and Everyday Uses of the Internet : Agency and Identity (Lang, 2002) with Susanna Paasonen. She is currently writing a book on the role of cheating in the digital game industry. Kate O'Riordan is a researcher seconded to CESAGen for three years to work on the ‘Meaning of Genomics' project.
She was seconded from the Centre for Continuing Education at the University of Sussex where she is a Lecturer in Media Studies. Her research and publication background is in digital media and internet research, and she has published on research ethics in this field. Previous research has included work on representations of gendered bodies, technologies, sexualities and queer theory across a range of sites.
