Fearless and irrepressible eighteen-year-old Amelia could see a roller derby opponent a mile away—and that's while crouched down, bent over skates, and zooming around a track at the speed of light. What she couldn't see coming, however, was the untimely flare-up of a rare liver disorder she was born with. Or how it would completely turn her life upside down. But it does. No more derby. No more leaving the house without her "liver phone" (the phone that may ring at some point with news of a viable liver replacement).
