Why would a man abandon everything he has known and loved, only to be locked up as just one more unwelcome seeker ? Here is the story of one such man, who lives in a Middle Eastern country ruled by a dictator known as Great Uncle. As a successful writer and war veteran, he leads a relatively comfortable existence - until a personal tragedy causes him to cach the eye of Great Uncle.
