Barbara Agosti is professor of History of Art and of Art Criticism at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". Her books include Collezionismo e archeologia cristiana nel Seicento (Jaca Book, 1996) and a monograph on Paolo Giovio historian of the arts (Olschki, 2008). She has also edited the writings of Leonardo da Vinci (Scritti artistici e tecnici di Leonardo da Vinci, Rizzoli, 2002). Michela Corso is a researcher at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata".
She has written contributions on Mannerist painting and craftsmanship, including L'Autunno della Maniera (Officina Libraria, 2018). Carlo Falciani is professor of History of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. He has written a monograph of Rosso Fiorentino (Olschki, 1996) and curated for the Musée Jacquemart-André of Paris the exhibition Florence, portraits à la cour de Mèdicis, 2015-2016, an co-curated with Antonio Natali : Bronzino, pittore e poeta alla corte dei Medici.
